Description

AFFINIS is an addition silicone impression material for crowns, bridges, and other prosthodontic procedures. All viscosities have surfactants added for improved wetting characteristics in a moist environment. The traditional light, medium, and heavy viscosities are available in 25- and 50-ml automix cartridges. The heavy-body viscosity is also supplied in 75-ml cartridges. A putty consistency is supplied in 300-ml containers. The starter kit evaluated contains a dispensing gun and one cartridge each of light-, medium-, and heavy-body viscosities; tray adhesive; mixing tips; and intraoral tips. Twenty-six consultants evaluated AFFINIS in over 400 clinical cases. This product received a 92% clinical rating.
