BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula is a whitening toothpaste indicated for maintaining bleached teeth while freshening breath and reducing plaque and calculus. BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula contains calcium peroxide to remove surface stains and lighten teeth and hydroxyapatite for promoting the rebuilding of enamel. Instructions recommend using it on a dry toothbrush and brushing for two minutes. BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula is mint flavored and is available in 1.4 and 4.2 oz tubes. Consultants distributed BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula to 73 patients for evaluation. This whitening toothpaste received an 86% rating.

BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula produced good general cleaning of teeth. The amount of whitening and stain removal varied widely among users. Some noted that their teeth were significantly lighter while others did not notice any difference. The paste has a smooth consistency and a mint flavor that leaves a fresh feeling mouth. All consultants and many patients were concerned that BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula does not contain fluoride. No tooth sensitivity or soft tissue irritation was reported. Seventy-three percent of patients who evaluated BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula had used a whitening toothpaste in the past. Of those who had, 48% rated BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula better than other brands and 43% rated it equivalent. Fifty-eight percent of patients felt that BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula improved the shade of their teeth. Forty-eight percent of users would switch to BEYOND Pearl White – Advanced Formula and 69% would recommend it.
