Description
bluephase 16i is a high-powered, rechargeable, cordless LED curing light. This 10-watt LED generates a maximum light intensity of 1600 mW/cm2 and is recommended for the polymerization of light-cured materials that are activated in the wavelength range of 430-490 nm. Depending upon the material selected, curing time may be reduced to as little as five seconds. The unit features three curing programs: High Powers, Low Power, and Soft Start. Curing times of 5-, 10-, 15-, 20-, or 30-seconds are displayed on the unit. bluephase 16i features a back-up power system offering the option of a corded light. For corded operation, the lithium battery is removed and the power pack from the base is plugged directly into the handpiece. The recharging base features a continuous-recharge cradle for the handpiece and a built-in light meter. The battery offers a 45-minute maximum curing time without any power loss and a short recharging time. The bluephase 16i is covered by a three year warranty. Twelve consultants evaluated bluephase 16i over a three-month period and experience no failures.
