Description
Celalux 2 is a cordless LED (light-emitting diode) light-curing unit with an average light output of 1000 mW/cm2. The wavelength range of 420-490 nm is intended to cure all composite materials, bonding agents and light-cured cements. Celalux 2 weighs 3.6 ounces, comes with a flat charging base, and a 360-degree rotating light guide. Battery charging time is 2.5 hours, and operating time with battery at full power is 300, 20-second cycles. Celalux 2 has two curing modes (standard and soft-start) and four curing times (10, 20, 30, and 40 seconds) that can be stored in the memory, helping to avoid reset time for each use. VOCO offers an optional power light guide with output of 1500 mW/cm2. Celalux 2 was evaluated by consultants in 1305 uses. Celalux 2 received a 93% clinical rating.
Product Features
Celalux 2 is a user-friendly light with uncomplicated programming. Buttons are easy to reach, and a soft beep signals time elapsed. Celalux 2 was rated very good for ease of use, battery life and ease of disinfection. Consultants appreciated the lightweight and simple design. Forty percent of consultants reported that Celalux 2 was better than their current LED curing light. Sixty percent would switch to Celalux 2 and 80% would recommend it.
