Description
DentalEZ Silhouette Chair equipped with the Galaxy Traditional-Style Delivery System was evaluated. The following is a description of the chair features evaluated; however, this is not a complete list of the available options. Eleven consultants and their patients evaluated the Silhouette Chair over a six-month period. This equipment received a 92% clinical rating.

Equipment Features
The arm rests of the Silhouette Chair are easy for the clinician to operate, increasing the ease with which patients enter and exit the chair. The arm slings are excellent for larger patients but provide little support to small people, as their arms do not touch the slings. Patients were positive about the appearance of the chair, noting its seamless upholstery and sleek design. The chair is comfortable and provides constant lumbar support to most patients as it reclines. Few patients found the need to readjust themselves to establish proper lumbar support in the doctors working position. The articulating headrest provides very good head support. Additional neck support was requested by a few patients. The movement of the chair is smooth and readily accomplished using the pre-set and manual controls on the delivery system.
