Description
DenTASTIC is a highly recommended dual-cured, 4th-generation bonding system for bonding composites and resin cements to dentin, enamel, porcelain, and metals. DenTASTIC is a system of primers, etchants and accessories designed to simplify the process of adhesive bonding in most restorative situations. The package includes a 10% phosphoric acid etchant, hydrofluoric acid, silane, a self-cure unfilled resin, and a system of self-curing primers for metal, amalgam and dentin surfaces. The dentin primer forms a hybrid layer with etched dentin, and the metal primer bonds both chemically and micro-mechanically to metal oxides. DenTASTIC was evaluated by 15 consultants in over 650 intraoral bonding applications. This product received an 86% clinical rating.
Product Features
DenTASTIC All-Purpose was rated excellent for overall quality of the bond and ease of use. The plastic instruction booklet gives step-by-step instructions for different bonding surfaces and is designed for chairside use. The instructions were very well received by most consultants. They reported that assistants appreciated having all the materials and technique steps in one kit. Most consultants stated that they would purchase or recommend DenTASTIC All-Purpose to their colleagues.
