Equipment Features

Although the unit only comes with one battery, an additional battery pack is available for purchase. The most-liked f e a t u res of G-Light were the portability, quiet operation, ease of activation, and accessibility of the buttons. The least-liked feature was the limited access for curing materials in posterior areas of the mouth. The unit is slightly heavier than many other LED lights, yet is well balanced. Sixty-seven percent of consultants found G-Light to be equivalent to or better than their current curing light. Sixty-four percent indicated that they would switch to G-Light from their current curing light and 77% would recommend it to a colleagueEditors’ Note: The original evaluation was published in THE DENTAL ADVISOR, Vol. 22, No. 10, December 2005.
