Description

The K4 Laboratory Handpiece is indicated for general-purpose use on acrylic, plaster, metal, and ceramic. It is 14-cm long, weighs 220 g, and operates at speeds of 1,000 to 30,000 rpm. The One Shaft System is designed to provide easy maintenance with fewer wearing parts. The K4 Laboratory Handpiece also features a brushless motor that eliminates change of carbon brushes and allows for a complete sealing of the motor. It also has three choices of controls: bench-top control with a start-stop foot pedal, foot control with a side-to-side pedal, or knee control with a side-push pedal. Nine consultants evaluated the K4 Laboratory Handpiece with the side-to-side foot pedal during a six-month period. This product received a 92% clinical rating
