ParaPost XT is a prefabricated, threaded post system with interrupted threads only in the coronal half of the post, a passive cervical half, and a shoulder stop designed to prevent over insertion of the post. The design maximizes retention in the coronal portion where the root structure is thicker. The passive apical half protects the thinner apical wall of the root. The kit contains six color-coded ParaPost XT drills that are three-fluted with depth marks at 7-, 9-, and 11-mm and their corresponding posts. ParaPost XT includes four of the most popular size posts, plus two new intermediate sizes (4.5 and 5.5). Two metal wrenches are also included in the kit. Fifteen consultants placed 190 posts using ParaPost XT. This product received an 82% clinical rating.
