As zirconia restorations become increasingly popular, clinicians are seeking a luting cement that is easy and predictable to implement.

Solution

Riva Luting Plus is a resin modified, self-curing, glass ionomer luting cement that can be used without requiring special preparation using cleaning agents nor does it require any bonding agents. It is an ideal cement not only for zirconia, but also metal, porcelain fused to metal and resin crowns and bridges. Riva Luting Plus utilizes proprietary IonGlass™ filler that is a radiopaque, high ion releasing, and antimicrobial against several cariogenic bacteria with a very low film thickness of only 10 microns. Most importantly, Riva Luting Plus chemically bonds to dentin, enamel and all types of core material.
