Description
Perfectemp10 is designed to create temporary crowns and bridges that are durable and affordable. Perfectemp10 has a uniform structure, which results in high luster that minimizes polishing and deters plaque build-up. The material has low shrinkage (3.4%), minimal heat generation, and compressive strength of 400 MPa. Perfectemp10 is available in 10 mL syringes in shades A1, A2, and A3.5 with 8 mixing tips and automix 50 mL cartridges in shades A1, A2, A3.5, B1, and BL2, with 15 mixing tips. Perfectemp10 has a working time of 40 seconds, an initial set time of 1:30 to 2:30 (should be removed from mouth by 2:30), and a total cure time of 4:30. The material is ideal for single unit and long span temporaries. Perfectemp10 was evaluated by 32 consultants in 593 uses. This provisional material received a 97% clinical rating.
Product Features
Perfectemp10 produces provisional restorations with very good fit and esthetics. The material has a reasonably fast setting time, and the working time allows it to be used for multi-unit temporaries. The material sets hard and can be trimmed without chipping at the margins. The low shrinkage results in a good fit and marginal seal. The presence of only a minimal amount of flash with no sticky residue was reported to be an important factor to consultants.
