It seems as if using a brush with some sort of abrasive gets into the grooves and fissures of the occlusal surfaces of my restorations better than using rubber cups. Is there a brush that uses several pastes of different grits to polish composite and porcelain?

There are several brushes and polishing paste systems to choose from. In fact, there are many polishing systems on the market. Our website has a section under Clinical Evaluations called Product Comparison Tables. There is a large table of composite polishing systems there, with many categories of features specified for each product, such as type of abrasive, whether they are discs, rubber points, or pasts, shapes, etc. My recommendation would be to browse through the table and find the product that best suits your needs. The table has a rating system that you can view for the products that our clinical consultants have tested.
