Evaluators’ Comments
- “Awesome files, easy to use, smooth feel, good bending properties and memory.”
- “This is a fine product and served its purpose very well. I was impressed.”
- “I had a hard time convincing myself to use them on some cases in the beginning but by the end I really liked them. I mostly used the 20 and 25 files in my C&S.”
- “It is a very nice file. I enjoyed using it and had no file separation. I think in a crowded rotary endodontic file market, this is a competitive product.”
- “Smooth cutting and confidence in the files to do what they are supposed to do. Also, I liked the labeling of the file size. It was easy to read and see.”
- “The paper points and gutta percha sometimes did not fit the canal respective to its size.”
- “It’s a different system to learn, and you have to change the settings on handpiece multiple times because of the number of files.”
Description
ZenFlex CM Rotary NiTi Files are heat-treated nickel titanium endodontic files used for debris removal and cleaning/shaping of root canals. The triangular cross section and heat treatment is designed to allow shaping in canals up to 90º. The heat treatment allows for “controlled memory” helping to maintain canal shape and reduce transportation. Reduced cyclic fatigue and torsional stress help minimize breakage and increase predictability. ZenFlex CM files are offered in .04 and .06 taper in sizes 13, 15, 17, 20, 25 and 30. Lengths are 21, 25 and 31mm with assorted packs available. Matched gutta percha is available in tip size 20-45.

Consultants’ Comments
- “Patients become numb almost instantaneously.”
- “I didn’t change the way I wait for the anesthetic to work, but at the end of the 5- minute period when the patient was asked if they felt numb, the overwhelming response was that they felt VERY numb. Every time I used BufferPro (mainly on lower blocks), I did not have to anesthetize again.”
- “There are other things that require my attention after anesthetics. Time saving was never the priority but rather the benefits of buffering in chemical interactions.”
- “My observation with this product is that it makes giving a lower block less painful and give deeper anesthesia.”
- “Quick application, no expensive parts and components, pain free injections, and quick anesthesia.”
- “Ease of use is incredible! Brilliant, no upfront expense, no bulky system that takes up space, and no $1000 expense.”
Description
BufferPro is a self-contained capsule of 0.1mL of 8.4% sodium bicarbonate solution that dispenses into a common dental anesthetic cartridge to increase the pH of the anesthetic. Each BufferPro capsule is individually packed in a foil wrapper, helping to avoid cross contamination and extending shelf life to 2 years. BufferPro offers easy application without additional equipment and simple clean-up by disposing the capsule into a sharps container.

Unique Attributes
- One step, simple buffering
- No mixing or measuring required
- Sterile, single-packaged
- Raises pH close to physiological levels
- Can be used with any 1.7ml dental anesthetic cartridge and dental syringe
- Invert the anesthesia carpule to mix the solution
Clinical Tips
- Use the anesthetic cartridge immediately after using BufferPro and be sure to review the IFU.
- After using BufferPro, the silicone plunger will slightly protrude from the anesthetic cartridge. This is normal and necessary for the anesthetic and sodium bicarbonate to properly mix. Tip the carpule back and forth with a rotating motion.
- Great for use on children and nervous adults.
- After mixed, be sure to check that your anesthetic carpule does not spill over or drip into the oral cavity.
Indications
Buffering of dental anesthetic cartridges to a pH close to natural physiological levels
