Description

Moist SURE™ Lotion Soap is a product intended for washing hands before contact with patients under medical care or treatment. It meets the FDA proposed performance standards for a healthcare personnel hand wash and meets the CDC recommendations for mildness and user tolerance. It is dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. The active ingredient is triclosan (0.5%). Moist SURE Lotion Soap meets performance criteria as a Healthcare Personnel Hand Wash, has a 15-second MRSA & VRE claim, is claimed to be as effective as a 4% CHG product, and is mild to skin. It is available as a 15-ounce pump bottle and a 33.8-ounce wall dispenser bottle. Moist SURE Lotion Soap was evaluated by 41 consultants in 1577 uses. It received a 92% rating.

Product Features

Consultants liked the moisturizing effect of Moist SURE™ Lotion Soap on their hands. If the soap was rinsed well, then residue was not a problem. With incomplete rinsing, a tacky residue was apparent. Skin irritation was not evident during the testing period. The clean scent and ease of donning gloves received very good ratings. Fifty-eight percent of consultants reported that Moist SURE Lotion Soap was better than their current lotion soap and 24% reported that it was equivalent. Seventy-one percent would switch to Moist SURE Lotion Soap and 78% would recommend it.
