Description
Sonicare Elite 7800 is a rechargeable power toothbrush. The patented sonic technology of Sonicare combines high frequency brushstrokes with an extra-wide sweeping motion to create dynamic fluid cleaning action. Each professional trial pack includes one color-coded, soft bristled brush head, a power handle, a charger base, a brush head holder, and a compact travel case. Sonicare Elite 7800 has an easy-start brushing power ramp-up feature that gradually increases to full power over the first 14 brushings to acquaint a new user with the vibrating action of the brush. The unit also features a programmable quadpacer, which is a four, 30-second interval timer that beeps between intervals, indicating the recommended length of time to brush each quadrant of the mouth. There is also an option to program the quadpacer for an additional 30 seconds of extended brushing time. Other features include an illuminated recharge gauge and a dual-speed control. Two additional models are available with fewer features, Sonicare Elite 7500 and Sonicare Elite 7300. Thirty-four dental professionals and patients used Sonicare Elite 7800 over a two-month evaluation period. This product received a 96% clinical rating.
