Predicta® Bioactive Desensitizer from Parkell® is a gel designed to treat dentinal hypersensitivity related to gingival recession, scaling and root planing, and whitening procedures. The use of calcium and phosphate help treat sensitive teeth by forming hydroxyapatite plugs to occlude open tubules as well as form a mineral layer. It is applied with a syringe and applicator brush and no mixing is required. Each package contains 3 (3ml) syringes, 30 applicator tips, 50 precision applicator brushes, and 1 mixing well. It is also available in a single-syringe kit.
Precise placement with applicator tip
Initial Insights
Very easy to apply.
I like that it does not need to be stored in the refrigerator or need any rinsing, which can be uncomfortable for sensitive patients.
Some of my patients said they noticed an improvement in sensitivity right away!
Placement is very precise with the tip.
Would be great if it was available with flavored options.

Fluorilaq™ Squeeze from Pascal®International, Inc. is available in a pre-mixed 9.5ml container. The nano suspension of 5% sodium fluoride and xylitol will not separate, eliminating the need for mixing. The “Micro-Precise” nozzle is designed to allow clinicians to dispense only what is needed, preventing wasted varnish. By placing droplets of varnish onto the back of a glove, clinicians can avoid going back and forth between the tray and the patient’s mouth.
This varnish contains no gluten, saccharin, aspartame, or tree nut allergens, and is n-hexane free.
Contents of each kit include one 9.5ml bottle of pre-mixed nano suspension of 5% sodium fluoride with xylitol, 30 brushes, and instructions for use.
Fluorilaq™ Squeeze is available in three flavors: Salted Caramel, Bubblegum and Fresh Mint.
Initial Insights
I have multiple patients that only need varnish on a few sensitive root surfaces and this works perfectly!
The back of the glove technique is much faster and easier than going back and forth to the tray. The varnish was not runny and the droplets stayed put on the back of my hand.
We have to throw away so much stuff in dentistry and it’s nice to use a product that doesn’t create so much waste. The bottle is even recyclable.

My patient confirmed that it didn’t interfere with his swallowing.
This made such a difference that a patient who had avoided the dentist for over 10 years has started coming back for continued treatment.
Would be great if it came in different flavors.
After swishing, my entire mouth was numb for a number of hours.
I had my patient sit forward to avoid numbing the back of his throat.

The Glo Science PRO Gum Health Device is intended to help boost oral health and gently whiten teeth. It uses a special foam treatment with antimicrobial hydrogen peroxide, xylitol, and other compounds to reportedly reduce oral germs and to restore healthy oral pH. The device has a special LED light that warms the foam while in the mouth, causing it to volumize and fill the hard-to-reach places in the teeth and gums. After just 8 minutes, it can be expelled and rinsed with water.
The complete kit
Dispensing the foam into the mouthpiece
Testing the consistency of the foam
First try-in of the mouthpiece
Utilizing the LED light function of the mouthpiece

The foam was refreshing and during use the mouth felt tingly.
For sensitive teeth, it can be hard to find products that don’t hurt, but Glo Pro felt gentle.
The foam can come out quickly, so patients might find it hard not to waste product if they don’t get the hang of it right away.
More sizes would be really great to have available.
