Description

3M ESPE Impregum Penta Soft is a medium-viscosity, polyether impression material for dynamic mixing machines. This hydrophilic impression material becomes more fluid under pressure, rendering it suitable for recording tissue detail in a monophase impression. It is also rigid enough after setting that it may be used with a triple-tray technique. Use of an automatic dispensing system provides the material with fewer voids and less waste. Impregum Penta Soft is packaged for use with the Pentamix 2 and other dynamic mixing machines. The Introductory Kit is packaged with one, 300-ml base; one, 60-ml catalyst; one, 17-ml bottle of adhesive; a cartridge; mixing tips; and accessories. Twenty-four consultants evaluated Impregum Penta Soft in over 300 clinical cases. This product received a 95% clinical rating.
