The RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post & RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement – Starter Kit is designed to provide the dental professional with a convenient and reliable system for cementation of fiber posts. The starter kit consists of RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement, which is a dual-cured, self-adhesive resin cement available in an automix syringe, and RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post, which are translucent glass-fiber posts that are radiopaque, composite reinforced and color-coded. The posts are available in four diameters: size 0 (1.1 mm), size 1 (1.3 mm), size 2 (1.6 mm), and size 3 (1.9 mm). RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post do not require any pre-treatment when used with RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement. Long, narrow endo tips fit onto the wide mixing tip for cementation and facilitate access to the root canal so cement can be applied in the canal from bottom up, lowering the risk of entrapping air bubbles and voids. The starter kit contains an 8.5 g syringe of RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement (shade A2 universal); 7 mixing tips (regular); 15 mixing tips (wide); 15 endo tips; 5 intra-oral tips; 5 each of RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post in sizes 0, 1, 2, and 3; 5 drills in sizes Universal, 0, 1, 2 and 3; and manufacturer’s instructions/laminated instruction cards. The RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post & RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement– Starter Kit is well organized and easy to use, containing everything needed for post placement. Separate bonding agents and etchants are not required with this cement system. The endo tip allows for direct delivery into the root canal. The drills and posts are well matched according to size and result in an intimate fit of the tapered posts in the canals. Having a rubber stopper supplied on each post increases the convenience of making length measurements. Sixty-four percent of consultants reported that RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post & RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement – Starter Kit saved time as compared to their current post cementation procedure. Sixty-one percent of consultants reported that RelyX Fiber Post 3D Glass Fiber Post & RelyX Unicem 2 Automix Self-Adhesive Resin Cement – Starter Kit was better than their current esthetic fiber post system and 33% reported that it was equivalent. Clinical Tips

• Seat post quickly after placing cement in the canal to reduce the chance of incomplete seating.
• Light cure the cement to tack the post in place; then allow sufficient time for the cement to set fully before placing the core. The cement can be light cured through the post with a 40 second exposure from the occlusal.
