Description

AP-44 Prophy Air is a hygiene handpiece for use with disposable prophy angles. The one-piece design includes an integrated air-motor with W&H RotoQuick swivel and rapid disconnect with standardized four-hole tubing. The operating speed is 2,250 to 2,750 rpm at 32 to 43.5 psi. The handpiece is designed with a tactile grip and chrome plating for increased durability during sterilization. Recommended maintenance includes using a spray lubricant or an Assistina 301 Plus automated handpiece cleaning system, followed by autoclave sterilization after each use. The handpiece carries a one-year warranty. Eleven consultants used AP-44 Prophy Air in 750 hygiene procedures over a six-month period. This product received a 98% clinical rating.
