Description

AP-64 Prophy Air is a hygiene handpiece for use with screw-on prophy cups and brushes. The air-motor is integrated into the one-piece design with W&H RotoQuick swivel and rapid disconnect with standardized four-hole tubing. The operating speed is 2,000 to 2,500 rpm at 32 to 43.5 psi. The head of the handpiece contains a protective seal between the cup and head. The tactile grip and chrome plating are designed to provide easy cleaning and increased durability during sterilization. Recommended maintenance includes use of a spray lubricant or an Assistina 301 Plus automated handpiece cleaning system, followed by autoclave sterilization after each use. The handpiece carries a one-year warranty. Nine consultants used AP-64 Prophy Air in 175 hygiene procedures over a six-month period. This product received a 96% clinical rating.
