Description

The Spirit 3000 Series dental chair is ergonomically designed to provide the dentist with ideal access and patient positioning, while maximizing patient comfort. The chair is available in four models, differentiated by a narrow or traditional back and seamless or plush upholstery. Standard features include sliding armrests that articulate with the angle of the seat back, high-gloss powder coat finish, and a chair control touch pad located on each arm support. As a safely feature, a “Secure Touch” button is incorporated into the touchpad to prevent unintentional chair activation. Options for the Spirit 3000 Series dental chair include ErgoSoothe massaging technology; quick-release, dual-articulating headrest; and an electronic foot control. All four models are available in 12 standard upholstery colors that can be upgraded to Ultraleather upholstery. The hydraulic chair is constructed of heavy-duty cast aluminum base plate and back and comes with a five-year warranty (one year on upholstery). The chair swivels up to 300 in either direction and utilizes an electric swivel brake. Fourteen clinical consultants used the Spirit 3000 Series dental chair over a six-month period. This product received a 96% clinical rating.

Equipment Features

The Spirit 3000 Series dental chair was highly rated for its appearance and comfort. Evaluators also appreciated the easily adjustable headrest and the sliding armrests, which allowed for easy patient entry and exit. Several consultants found that programming the auto buttons was not intuitive, and some noted the buttons were hard to push. The Ultraleather plush upholstery on the chair is soft and supple, and patients reported the chair to be very comfortable. Over 85% of patients reported that they liked the massage feature. Throughout the clinical evaluation, the chair proved to be dependable; no maintenance issues were encountered. Eighty-nine percent of consultants found the Spirit 3000 Series dental chair to be equal to or better than their current chair, 79% would switch, and 86% would recommend it to a colleague.
