Description

TwinPower Turbine is a high-speed, fiberoptic handpiece. It utilizes a double-impeller design that is reported to deliver optimal performance while maintaining constantly balanced torque. This lightweight (48 g) handpiece features a ceramic finish grip, three air/water spray nozzles and a push-button chuck. The head measures 13.2mm high and 10.5 mm in diameter and is angled at 15¬∞ to increase user visibility and maneuverability. TwinPower Turbine is available in five connection styles: Morita Type, Sirona RF, W&H Roto Quick, Kavo MULTIflex LUX, and NSK FlexiQuick. TwinPower Turbine also has couplers available for 4-hole, 5-hole and 6 pin tubings. The handpiece operates at 29-42 psi and has a maximum rotation speed of about 370,000 rpm. A quick-stop feature is designed to stop the turbine in two seconds and the handpiece is also designed with a pressurized diffuser to eliminate suck back in the air line. TwinPower Turbine must be sterilized and lubricated according to manufacturer’s recommendations. This handpiece was evaluated by 14 clinical consultants during 1,100 uses and received a 96% clinical rating.
