My son really liked the Cotton Candy and Blue Raspberry Flavors!

Let’s face it, most children do not like to brush their teeth. Arguing with or bribing their kids to brush is tiring and frustrating for parents. The AutoBrush® for Kids is an automatic toothbrush that can help make oral hygiene fun and motivate children to brush without a fight. It’s u-shaped brush head contains up to 25,000 ultra-soft nylon bristles. It has three cleaning modes, three light modes, and two timing modes (30 and 60 seconds). Children also have the option to brush with or without a musical tune. It is available in four cute animal designs.
Available in Bubblegum and Strawberry flavors, AutoBrush® foaming toothpaste is non-GMO and vegan. It is also fluoride, gluten, and SLS free. If preferred, a traditional fluoridated toothpaste may also be used.
The AutoBrush® Pro: Kids Total Package contains one AutoBrush®, one nylon brush head, one tongue scraper attachment, one package of 50 hydroxyapatite threaded flossers, one foam toothpaste, and a charging unit. Also included for extra motivation are a brushing calendar and stickers.
The AutoBrush® is also available for adults!

Initial Insights
My son was actually excited to try this brush. He really liked the light feature.
I would like to learn more about the flossers with hydroxyapatite and the Nano Silver Technology used in the toothpaste.
It’s nice that my very picky son can still use his “regular toothpaste.”
Good tool to help motivate kids to brush!
This would be great for adults with limited dexterity and those that need caregivers to help with brushing.

Bruxism, which can cause sensitivity and damage to the teeth, is a common finding in the pediatric patient. Sova® Junior Night Guard by Akervall Technologies, Inc. is a remoldable occlusal splint designed specifically for children. Traditional night guards are both expensive and impractical for a child with mixed dentition. The Sova® Junior Night Guard can be molded as needed to fit the growing jaws and changing teeth of children ages six to eleven. Impressions are not needed and the guard can be worn on the upper or lower arch. The material is BPA, latex, phthalate, and PVC free.
Initial Insights
The heating packet worked well and was easy to use.
No impressions to take! That’s great!
Easy to form but you have to work quickly.
It’s not too bulky and appears to hold up well.
Affordable option and a great idea!

Sealants are commonly delivered through a syringe, but this can sometimes create voids or excess material which requires adjustment. Champ® Pit & Fissure Sealant from Centrix is a single-unit sealant with a brush applicator. It is a bioactive, light-cured sealant, and it does not require a bonding agent. Instead, the clinician just needs to etch, rinse, apply, and cure. Champ also releases fluoride and phosphate over time.
Note: for those who prefer syringe delivery, Champ will be available in a syringe in July 2021.
Initial Insights
When I use flowable, I dispense it and then use a brush. This has it all in one place!
It would be interesting to see research on the fluoride and phosphate release over time; if it’s longer than other products, I would switch!
Please include etchant in the kit.

Needles pose a great danger if their caps are dropped or go missing, and even recapping can lead to needlesticks. Orabloc Needlestick Safety System from Pierrel Pharma is a hands free, counter-top needle recapper created to combat this problem. The needle is simply pushed into the opening, which caps it with a brightly-colored capsule. The now-capped needle is withdrawn, and a spring inside the system pushes the opening to the next capsule. Once the needle is removed from the syringe, the opposing end can also be capped. There are 100 protective capsules in each system.
A funnel guides the needle right to the capsules
It works well with short needles, too
Initial Insights
The caps stay right on the needle so they don’t fall off or get lost.
There’s a plastic coating that keeps the needle from going all the way through.
The color-coding is really nice to let you know when you’re running low on capsules.
I would love to see a smaller size footprint!

Miracle Suction is part of a kit that was created to confront the problem of not having enough hands. The colorful mirrors attach directly to standard HVE handpieces and have small holes in the side and bottom surfaces of the head, designed to eliminate the need for separate mirror and suction. Each reflective surface is anti-fog and autoclavable for ease of use and cleaning.
Brief retraction and suction with Miracle Suction
Mirror head surfaces displaying suction holes
Suction of water out of a cup
Initial Insights
The colors might make it fun for kids especially.
It suctions very well, especially considering it has to be used as a mirror the entire time.
It could do with more sizes to connect with the HVE more accurately.
I found it easiest to use when I periodically dipped the mirror down to suction pools of saliva.
